Popeyes Boston, MA

This was a 100-year-old historical brown stone building. The previous use for the building was a hotel. We converted part of the building to a Popeye’s Chicken & Biscuits Restaurant.  The Popeye’s Chicken currently sits in the old ballroom of the hotel.  We had to demo the existing stage area and some load bearing wall. We brought in structural steel to level the floor shore up and support what was removed. This building was 100-years-old and the Historical Society was involved. Any exterior renovations had to conform to the building’s original integrity. Also with the building being so old, there was construction that was never seen by some of our employees. With leadership from our experienced Project Manager we were able to complete the project on time and with minimal delay. There was a lot of planning and meeting with Town Officials as well as the Historical Society. The existing building had DC power and it had to comply with electricity, as we know it today. This is one of many projects we are proud of having in our portfolio. This project was a challenge for us but we loved every minute of it.
